During the months of June and July was held the Warm Winter Campaign. More than 1400 items were collected, including clothing, blankets and shoes. The Company Brasil Center, our partner, donated 1000 pieces for this campaign.
The donations were distributed among families served by ACOLE in Salvador, neighborhood located in Sooretama and shelter that serves 13 children and adolescents, aged from 6 to 14 years. All received with joy and expressed the importance of these resources for them.
In Vila Velha, the donations were destined to the Halfway House, Loren Reno, which houses 08 boys between 8-17 years and the Casa Lar in Aribiri, which houses 14 girls ranging in age from 1 month to 18 years. These institutions also received vegetables and milk.
In Vitoria/ES, the Asylum was attended. The donations were accompanied by music and joy during the commemoration of the grandfathers (July 26) with 83 inmates. They won a beautiful and delicious cake made by students of the School Bakery and souvenirs made by students from ACOLE. It was a great emotional moment, because in addition to donations, the asylum received attention and love.
The ACOLE's family and all grantees acknowledge the support and solidarity of all who somehow contributed to the success of this campaign. The needs that exist requires goodwill and love of each individual. This is the only way to transform the social reality of this sad nation.
"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35
God bless you all!
